Матриксные металло-протеиназы являются не только независимыми факторами возникновения ХОБЛ, но и играют важную роль в воспалении дыхательных путей. В обзоре с позиции современного представления о патогенезе ХОБЛ рассмотрена роль различных представителей класса матриксных металлопротеиназ. Обобщены данные как о самостоятельном влиянии активности этих ферментов на легочную ткань, так и о их важной роли в проградиентном течении воспалительной реакции в дыхательных путях.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The authors deem the chronic obstructive lung disease to be nicotine-associated disease that mostly results from the imbalance in the ‘proteolysis-antiproteolysis’ system. The matrix metalloproteinases are independent factors that play an important role in forming respiratory ways inflammation.
