Гангрена Фурнье (молниеносная гангрена мошонки) - редкая форма инфекционного некротизирующего фасциита гениталий и промежности полимикробной этиологии. Она относится к острым хирургическим заболеваниям, характеризуется стремительным септическим течением и высокой летальностью, достигающей 88 %. В представленном обзоре литературы освещаются эпидемиология, этиология, патогенез, клинико-лабораторная картина, диагностика, лечение, исход и прогноз заболевания. Затрагиваются вопросы, касающиеся экономических затрат на лечение, обусловленных длительной госпитализацией. Обсуждаются новые методы адъювантного лечения: гипербарическая оксигенотерапия, вакуум-терапия. Обращается внимание, что прогноз заболевания зависит, прежде всего, от своевременной диагностики и сроков хирургического вмешательства.

Fournier gangrene (fulminant gangrene of the scrotum) is a rare form of infective necrotizing fasciitis genitalia and perineum polymicrobial aetiology. It refers to an acute surgical diseases characterized by rapid septic course and high mortality reaching 88 %. The review covers the epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, clinical and laboratory features, diagnosis, treatment, outcome and prognosis of the disease. Addressed the issues relating to the economic costs of treatment due to extended admission. Discussed new methods of adjuvant therapy: hyperbaric oxygen therapy, vacuum therapy. Payed attention that the prognosis of the disease depends primarily on timely diagnosis and timing of surgical intervention.
