<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The viral activity of the strains of hantavirus infection of two gene variants — Far East virus Hantaan and Vladivostok virus Seoul, allocated from wild mice rodents and sick people from the centers of two epidemiological types of Primorsky Krai is investigated. It is shown, that gene variant strains Far East, despite of their origin, possess the high viral activity for newborn white mice, but differ on viral activity for newborn white rats. Gene variant Vladivostok, allocated from sick people, aviral for the investigated animals. Regional strains differed on the biological properties from high viral strains of 76 118 virus Hantaan and SR1 1 virus Seoul that can be connected to distinctions at their genome level.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>хантавирус</kwd><kwd>генотип</kwd><kwd>вирулентность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hantavirus infection</kwd><kwd>genotype</kwd><kwd>viral activity</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Морозов В.Г.
