Рассматриваются возможности внутрипросветной хирургии (фотодинамической терапии и стентирования), как альтернативы оперативному лечению, позволяющей улучшить качество и увеличить продолжительности жизни пациентов со стенозирующим раком верхних отделов пищеварительного тракта.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Issues on the effectiveness of stenotic esophagus cancer and the ways of multimodal approach to the therapy of such kind of pathology are being discussed. The possibility of the intraluminal surgery (photodynamic therapy and stenting) as an alternative to operative treatment is discussed.
