Клинические изоляты E. faecalis (n = 51), выделенные из мочи детей в возрасте от 3 дней до 17 лет, находившихся на лечении по поводу инфекции мочевыделительной системы в период с 2013 по 2017 г. Биологические свойства энтерококков оценивали классическим микробиологическим и современным молекулярно-генетическим методами. Статистическую обработку цифровых данных проводили с помощью непараметрических методов.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлена фенотипическая и генетическая неоднородность микробиологических свойств изучаемой коллекции мочевых изолятов энтерококков. Используя статистические методы анализа, были установлены значимые связи между наличием генов патогенности, антибиотикорезистентности и фенотипическими проявлениями биологических свойств у мочевых изолятов Е. faecalis. По результатам оценки фенотипических проявлений биологических свойств и наличию определенных генов изучаемые энтерококки были распределены на группы, которые соотносились с определенными сиквенс-типами (ST). На основании выявленных связей некоторых биологических свойств мочевых изолятов Е. faecalis с принадлежностью их к определенному сиквенс-типу нами был разработан алгоритм оценки этиологически значимых и высоковирулентных E. faecalis, выделенных из мочи детей с ИМС.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Комплексное определение некоторых потенциально важных биологических свойств возбудителя: ферментативной активности, связанной с патогенностью и биохимической активностью, антибиотикорезистентностью, не только на фенотипическом, но и на генетическом уровне позволяет оценить диагностическое значение уроштаммов E. faecalis, выделенных из мочи детей с ИМС, что будет способствовать персонифицированному подходу к лечению данных пациентов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To conduct comprehensive evaluation of microbiological properties of Enterococcus faecalis, isolated from urine in children with urinary system infections (UTI), to determine their etiological significance.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The study employed clinical isolates E. faecalis (n = 51) from the urine of children aged 3 days to 17 years who were treated for urinary tract infection between 2013 and 2017. The biological properties of enterococci were evaluated by means of classical microbiological and up-to-date molecular genetic methods. Statistical processing of digital data was carried out using non-parametric methods.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Phenotypic and genetic heterogeneity of microbiological properties of the studied urinary enterococci isolates was revealed. Using statistical methods of analysis, the authors established significant correlations between pathogenicity genes, antibiotic resistance and phenotypic manifestations of biological properties in urinary isolates E. faecalis. The results of evaluating the phenotypic manifestations of biological properties and the presence of certain genes enabled the enterococci to be classified into groups that correlated with certain sequence types (ST). Based on the revealed relationships of some biological properties of urinary isolates E. faecalis with certain sequence types, the authors developed an algorithm for assessing etiologically significant and highly virulent E. faecalis isolated from the urine of children with UTI.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions.
