Среди альфа-герпесвирусов выделяют три вида, способных вызывать антропонозные инфекции: вирус простого герпеса 1-го и 2-го типов и вирус ветряной оспы. Несмотря на общность структуры, заболевания, вызываемые этими вирусами, отличаются как патогенезом, так и клиническими проявлениями. Из-за сложностей моделирования ветряной оспы изучение более доступных для моделирования вирусов простого герпеса становится важной задачей для научного общества.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review of publications on alphaherpesviruses, their taxonomy, morphology and life cycle is represented. Alpha-herpesviruses are divided into three types that can cause anthroponous infections: herpes simplex virus types I and II, and varicella-zoster virus. Despite the common structure, diseases caused by these viruses differ in both pathogenesis and clinical manifestations.
