<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The study objective is to identify the structural patterns of central nervous system lesions in systemic sclerosis (SSc). Methods. It have been studied the results of autopsies of 12 women 44-56 years old, suffering from SSc. We used a set of neurohisto-logical and morphometric methods. Results. Different morphological changes were registered in all the structures of the central nervous system: sheaths, vessels, glial tissue, neurons and nerve fibers. The degree of their severity, topography, and extent depended on the severity of the disease. It was obtained a combination of major structural aspects - mucoid swelling, fibrinous changes, a variety of cellular responses, vasculitis, multiple sclerosis and hyalinosis. Conclusions. The complex of these changes in the central nervous system in SSc can be characterized as sclerodermic encephalomy-elopathy.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>системная склеродермия</kwd><kwd>центральная нервная система</kwd><kwd>дезорганизация соединительной ткани</kwd><kwd>микроциркуляторное русло</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>systemic scleroderma</kwd><kwd>central nervous system</kwd><kwd>disorganization of connective tissue</kwd><kwd>microcirculatory bloodstream</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Блинков С. И.
