Genetically modified components in food: regional aspect
Abstract
The analysis of marks of the 1400 soy products, analogues of meat, dairy and confectionery products, meat semifin ished items and ready meat products has not found out the informa tion of the manufacturer on the presence of genetically modified components. In the PCR-lab of Far Eastern state medical university (Khabarovsk) 33 samples of products are investigated to soy com ponents, including undergone genetic modifying. It is established, that in 37% of cases the information on structure of a product was doubtful, in 27% of samples the transgenic soy is found.
