Clinical and pathogenetic classification and modern criteria to diagnose children and teenagers’ chronic obstructive respiratory diseases
Abstract
The authors present clinical and pathogenetic classification of chronic obstructive respiratory diseases prepared with due regard to pathogenesis and mechanisms of disease progression and typical clinical aspects. Their studies allow to define three groups of nosological units. These are: acquired diseases (1st group), hereditary diseases (2nd group) and congenital mal‑formations of lungs and bronchi (3rd group). Clarifying and updating the diagnostic criteria will allow more correct and prompt diagnostic verification.
