Abstract
The review of the literature devoted to etiology, pathogenesis and classifications of aneurismatic aorta. The history of studying of this pathology and expediency of existing classifications is discussed from the point of view of the follow-up and tactics of treatment. The attention is given to the clinical features, the most typical complications, the causes of death.
