THE ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE OF PNEUMOCOCCI STAINS FROM THE PATIENTS WITH HOME PNEUMONIA
Abstract
The method of serial cultivations is used to investigate the resistency to antibacterial agents of 21 pneumococci stains cultivated of induced spit of pneumonia patients. Streptococcus pneumoniae had high sensitivity to amoxicilline/clavulanate, ceftriaxone, linezolide, rifampycin, and vancomycin. Macrolides had low antipneumococcal activity. 28.6% of the pneumococci stains were resistant to trovafloxacin. The method of polymerase chain reaction in 71.6% of cases could determine the genes of resistency mefE, mefA, ermB and ermA to macrolides and in 61.9 % of cases — genes gyrA, gyrB, parC and pare to ftorchinolones.
