STRUCTURE OF MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY IN REGIONAL HOSPITAL OF THE STATE FEDERAL PRISON SERVICE IN PRIMORSKYREGION OF RUSSIA

Abstract

The analysis of morbidity and mortality in prison system of Primorsky Region in 1986—2005 is resulted. It is shown, that the structure of mortality among the prisoners differs much from the mortality in general population. The most part of died was at working age (30—50 years old). Among the causes of death the tuberculosis and other infectious diseases were registered more often.
