EPIDEMIOLOGY OF HOSPITAL PNEUMONIAS AT PATIENTS WITH BRAIN TRAUMA IN ICU
Abstract
Hospital infections result in deterioration of the outcome for patients, increase duration of hospitalization and cost of treatment, reduce efficiency of antibacterial therapy. In work the complex epidemiological method was used. The structure of pathological conditions at patients is presented first of all by brain trauma (63.1%). P. aeruginosa, causing one third of all hospital pneumonias in ICU, plays also a predominating role in the etiology of this infection and at patients with brain trauma.
