APPLICATION OF THE POLYPROPYLENE MESH IN TREATMENT OF HERNIAS
Abstract
The results of surgical treatment of 124 patients with postoperative ventral and inguinal hernias are shown. All patients underwent hernioplasty with «Ethicon’s» polypropylene mesh. The analysis of the short postoperative complications is done. There was no mortality in the group who underwent this type of surgery. For the period from 6 months till 2 years there were no relapses of hernias.
