EXPERIENCE OF VIDEO-ASSISTED TRANSUMBILICAL APPENDECTOMY IN CHILDREN
Abstract
The transumbilical laparoscopic assisted appendectomy combines the simplicity and the safety of conventional appendectomy with the survey of laparoscopic appendectomy. It minimizes the trauma of surgery and shows a perfect cosmetic result. Authors suggested this method as an alternative to conventional appendectomy and used it successfully in 3 cases.
