THE CASES OF ANTHRAX IN PRIMORSKY REGION IN 1904-1980

Abstract

This study describes mass and sporadic episodes of anthrax on the territory of Primorsky region of Russia. The sources of people's infection and animal diseases were burial grounds of cattle remained after anthrax epidemic in 1904. It is also pointed to the necessity of being on the epidemiological alert with respect to this disease.
