ANEURYSMS OF ANTERIOR CEREBRAL–ANTERIOR COMMUNICATING ARTERIES: PREVENTIVE TEMPORARY CLIPPING AT THE TIME OF OPERATION

Abstract

In these researches there was given a description of a technique of preventive temporary clipping of carrier vessel applied for three patients with aneurysms of anterior cerebral – anterior communicating arteries. The duration of clipping varied from 3 to 11 minutes. It was used at the time of dissection and/or clipping of aneurysm. After operation in all cases there were no ischemic complications.
