The basic problems of primary specialized ophtalmic care in Primorsky territory and possible ways of their solution at the regional level

Abstract

Summary: When analyzing indicators of primary medical specialized ophthalmic care in Primorsky territory, the main problems were detected: medical staff shortage, insufficient equipment of workplaces in specialized rooms, lack of modern diagnostic equipment in medical organizations of the 1st and 2nd levels. A program “The development of ophthalmic services in the system of healthcare of Primorsku territory” was designed in which goals, objectives and expected results are defined to solve these problems according to the regional program “Primary healthcare modernization”.
