MORPHOLOGY OF DEVELOPING EYE DRAINAGE SYSTEM IN CONCEPTIONS OF CONGENITAL GLAUCOMA PATHOGENESIS
Abstract
The present conceptions of the congenital glaucoma
pathogenesis aren't based on the morphologic substrate. The
participation of the immunocompetent cells in the process of eye
drainage system physiological regeneration was determined by
the modern method of the immune histochemistry. The interaction of the immunocompetent cells in the eye anterior segment
is supposed. The role of the mesenchymal tissue phagocytosis, as
one of the key restructuring mechanism during the physiological
regeneration of the drainage system was considered. The authors
put forward the conception of the immune phagocytic control
imbalance in the glaucoma pathogenesis.
