ORGANISATION OF MEDICAL CARE FOR HIV-POSITIVE PATIENTS IN PRIMORSKY KRAI
Abstract
The paper describes organisation of medical care for HIV-positive patients in Primorsky Krai. It places a special emphasis on authorised specialists working in the Regional Clinical Centre of Prevention and Fight against AIDS. It is shown that timely periodic health examination of HIV-positive patients is one of the basic conditions for increasing the lifetime and improving the quality of their lives. The authors investigate a variety of aspects related to implementation of top-priority national project "Health" and pilot project oriented to treatment and preventive care of parenteral Hepatitis in HIV-positive patients in Primorsky Krai.
