Abstract

Objective. To estimate the prevalence of the classical and additional cardiovascular risk factors in the men of young and middle age. Methods. In the Department of the Hospital Therapy MMA have been inspected 203 men at the age 39.5±7.0 of years. Have been evaluated the complaints, the presence and the duration of arterial hypertension, hereditary anamnesis, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, have been carried out ultrasound heart, carotid arteries, internal organs examinations. The patients with the defeat of the target organs and the associated clinical states were not included in a study. Results. Have been formed two groups: 1st - 69 men at the age 41.4±6.2 of years with subclinical atherosclerosis; 2nd the group -134 men 38.2±7.4 of years with the intact endothelial pavement. In those investigated 1st group more frequently were revealed burdened heredity on the cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus 2 type, alimentary obesity. The manifestation of arterial hypertension and duration differed with subclinical atherosclerosis with it's comparable frequency. There were more characteristic dyslipidemia for the patients from 1st group due to the LDL-fraction, the higher frequency of the development of prediabetes. During an ultrasound heart examination in all patients has been noted normal geometry and mass of left ventricle; however, in 1st group has already been determined the initial signs of left atrium remodeling. In men with subclinical atherosclerosis also more frequently have been verified early stage of nonalcoholic steatohepatosis. Conclusions. Summing up the sums, it should be noted that each third man-soldier after 30 years when the concealed disturbances of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism are present, is situated in the zone of the potential risk of the development of subclinical atherosclerosis. The revealed changes in the liver and the dysfunction of the pancreas can be examined as the additional factors of the risk of early atherosclerotic changes.
