EXPERIENCE OF LAPAROSCOPIC MANAGEMENT OF KIDNEY CANCER

Abstract

Since 2014, 143 laparoscopic operations for kidney tumors in patients aged 31 to 82 (79 men and 64 women) have been performed at the FEFU Medical Center. 50 resections of the kidneys, 89 nephrodrenalectomies with lymphodissection and 4 nephrenelectomies with resection of the bladder were performed. 108 interventions are performed laparoscopically with manual assistance, the rest was performed laparoscopically. Four postoperative complications (intra-abdominal hemorrhage, transient hypocorticism, severe renal failure and suppuration of the operating wound) and one fatal outcome due to acute gastric ulcer with massive blood loss were recorded.
