ORAL HEALTH STATUS AND LIFE QUALITY OF CHILDREN AGED 7-10 YEARS OLD
Abstract
The paper aims to analyse effects from intensive carious lesions and hygienic state of oral cavity on life quality of children aged 7 to 10 years old. The adapted parents-oriented questionnaire OHQoL has been used to evaluate the children’s life quality. The caries intensity exhibits reliable effects on all the dental status components like physical discomfort in the oral cavity as well as children’s functional disorders, emotional, social and family well-being.
