Transpedicular vertebroplastics at posterior surgical techniques at patients with nonstable spinal thoracic and lumbar trauma
Abstract
The analysis of results of treatment of 61 patients with thoracic and lumbar spinal fractures treated with transpedicular systems and vertebroplastics is submitted. Clear advantages of use of vertebroplastics are revealed. Surgery gives the big opportunities for restoration of height of a body of the broken vertebrae, due to impactors used at reposition. The filling, formed thus in damaged vertebrae, of the bone defects by auto-tissue, restored the lost volume and, thus, raised stability of spine.
