Chronologically systematized, various aspects of activity of VSMU specialists in the field of nutrition hygiene are submitted. The organization of experimental works with the use of biological models is described. Priority works on studying of food value of the hydrobionts and marine products are especially allocated. The results of long‑term medical and biologic research of the chitozane, being further the basis for the state registration as biologically active additives are submitted. In a material of the article the achievements, scientific priorities, the contribution of scientists of high school to the decision of problems of a healthy nutrition of the population of region and the country as a whole are reflected, the basic problems constraining the development of the important scientific researches are designated.

The modern condition of a problem of maintenance of quality and safety of biologically active additives - one of the major components of a healthy nutrition of the population is shown. The substantiation of the necessity of the additional alimentary factor is resulted; the basic legal and methodological aspects of manufacture and realization of biologically active ad- ditives are stated.

The lecture devoted to the role of functional
nutriative products in the prophylaxis and treatment of the osteoporosis. The features of a metabolism of calcium and vitamin D,and also a role of other macro elements are examined
depending on the structure of foodstuff. Necessity of expansion of assortment of functional food enriched by calcium and vitamin
D is shown.

Long‑term experience of interaction of the Open Society Ussuriisky Balsam with the research centers is submitted by manufacture of various drinks, mainly, biologically active additives. It is shown, what even at expensive aspects of the specified interaction, it guarantees economic benefit due to the improvement of quality, so competitiveness of production. Thus, all in the greater degree is realized one of the principles of the manufacture, consisting in a combination of commercial interests to the contribution to the decision of medical‑social problems of the society.

The review of the literature devoted to the
manufacture and introduction of functional products in a nutrition of the population of the Russian Federation. Modern approaches
to the increasing of food and biological value of functional food
are considered. The conclusion is made, that for development of
manufacture of medical means and prophylactic nutrition, for
the reception of unique chemical compounds Russia possesses
significant potential of resources, including of sea origin, the
scientific and technical staff and a number of originaltechnological
methods.

The review of the literature devoted to the analysis
of the basic medical and biologic problems in use of the mineral
and organic enterosorbents as the components of biologically
active additives. The specific features of zeolites of various deposits
and chitozane of various degree of clearing are shown. The
necessity of correction of medical and biologic testing and
conditions of the reference of biologically active additives containing enterosorbents is proved.

Influence of rations containing gonads of industrial sea urchin species S. intermedius, S. nudus, S. droebachiensis, S. pallius on sexual behavior of pubertal male rats have been studied in etologic experiments, performed with Jan Bures et al. method (1991). Frozen or lyophilized gonads at 0,4 g/kg/24h stimulated pair sexual behavior of males with an then tic increase of all the components like sniffing, licking, covering and ejaculation. Final results were compatible with pantocrin (deer antler extract) and significantly exceeded afrodiatical activity of ginseng root tincture and tentex forte. Addition of sea urchin gonads in the fodder for castrated male rats prevented atrophic changes in prostate and seminal vesicles which let us suppose a connection of biologic activity with presence of chemical substances similar to androgens.

Attempt of the analysis of influence of the psycho
emotional condition and former head trauma on the
development of skin diseases is done. 148 patients were surveyed. In the acute period the skin changes were not registered. The skin
pathology developed in the certain period after head trauma at half
of patients. Questions of pharmacological and food correction
of skin pathology at the patients who have had head trauma are
discussed.

The innervation of esophagus squeezer lower part arterioles was studied in the connection with possible participation in the gastroesophageal reflux, using fetus and rat species. The arterioles were determined to have wide effecter innervation of esophagus squeezer lower part. The quantity of cholinergic and adrenergic axons is equal, but significantly lower of nitroergic nerve fibers. The dysfunction of nervous circular regulation is supposed to lead nitric oxide overproduction which may serve as pathogenic mechanism of gastroesophageal reflux.

Within the experiment on rats the liver protective
actions of syrups produced on the basis of the Far Eastern herbs
and marine weed was estimated. Authors modeled the toxic
hepatitis, determined relative weight of the liver, carried out the
biochemical tests; studied lipids peroxide oxidation, carried out
morphological research. The positive liver protective effect of
syrups was found out and proved.

The estimation of a nutrition set of the urban and agricultural population of Primorsky Krai for 2002-2006 has revealed the insufficient consumption of meat and meat products, bacon, milk and dairy products, cottage cheese, sour cream, cheese, eggs, vegetables and melon cultures, fruit fresh, dried fruits, a potato (urban), fish and fish products (village), sugar and butter. The comparative estimation of consumption of food stuffs has shown smaller consumption by the population of countryside of meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, cottage cheese, sour cream, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, dried fruits, fish and fish products, butter. In the farms of Primorsky Krai for 2003-2006 the consumption was lower, than in the Russian Federation on 6 groups: bread and grain products, fruit and berries, meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, eggs, sugar and confectionery products. The population of Primorsky Krai requires more balanced nutrition.

Authors develop and approve the method of research
of balance of the essential mineral elements at consumption by
animals' mineral and organic enterosorbents in biological
experiments. The results of research testify to influence of the raiseddozes of the enterosorbents on the mineral balance and necessityof the inclusion of researches of balance of minerals for the circuitof medical and biologic testing of the biologically active additives.

The results of experimental testing of the prophylactic effects of action of the «Biologically active additive of a syrup balsam Herbamarin (hepatic) manufactures of Open Society Ussuriisky Balsam in conditions of experimental model of the toxic hepatites induced by tetrachlormethane are submitted. The received results have confirmed this product declared by developers as liver protective effect of action, and also substantiated its antioxidation action. The opportunity of clinical tests is proved.

The results of clinical tests of biologically active additive Syrup balsam Herbamarin (hepatic) manufactures of Open Society Ussuriisky Balsam with liver protective and antioxidation effects established in experiment are submitted. Results of supervision over dynamics of typical clinical symptoms and the analysis of the lab researches have authentically confirmed the presence of the specified effects of the additive, have allowed authors to recommend its application for prophylactic of liver pathology, changes in system of the antioxidation protection, and also for inclusion in medical process with the basic therapeutic scheme as the additional medical factor at chronic hepatites.

The 27 strains of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa by the analysis of polymorphism of lengths of the restricted DNA fragments in polymerase chain reaction with application of the endonucleases of the restriction were investigated. The most convenient for typing of the closely related strains of pseudomonads appeared the restriction gene ExoY by the enzyme Sal I. It allows recommending it for the revealing of a source and establishing of the mechanisms of infection transmission.

The immunohystochemical markers of the proliferative activity (Ki67 and topoisomerase IIα), apoptosis (p53) and intercellular adhesion (E-cadherin) are investigated at 212 patients with squamous cell lung cancer. Distinction of biological properties of the central and peripheral tumors, consisting in character of the interaction between investigated markers is revealed. At the central cancer the level of intercellular adhesion correlated with the expression of the markers of the proliferative activity and apoptosis whereas at a peripheral cancer similar dependence is not traced. At the central cancer without metastasises in lymph nodes the level of the expression of the E-cadherin has been connected only with the expression of Ki67, and at lymph nodes lesion there was an interrelation of levels of the expression of E-cadherin, topoisomerase IIα and p53.

The analysis of marks of the 1400 soy products, analogues of meat, dairy and confectionery products, meat semifin ished items and ready meat products has not found out the informa tion of the manufacturer on the presence of genetically modified components. In the PCR-lab of Far Eastern state medical university (Khabarovsk) 33 samples of products are investigated to soy com ponents, including undergone genetic modifying. It is established, that in 37% of cases the information on structure of a product was doubtful, in 27% of samples the transgenic soy is found.

The technology of updating of soy raw material by papain is described. The combined soy-protein products which are not having antinutritious properties are received. Clinical tests on 20 volunteers, with arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease are done. The efficiency of the developed products for correction of lipid exchange lesion is shown.

The basic results of medical and biologic testing of
meat of the Far Eastern Pinnipedia are submitted for protein
efficiency, diet potential, prophylactic effects, and also the
influence of various ways of culinary processing of raw material
on parameters of food and biological value of dishes and
products. This meat differs by the high level of the fiber, polynonsaturated fat acids, iron and vitamins at low power value. All these properties make the Pinnipedia meat rather perspective
for dietary and dietetic therapy.

On model of the posthemorrhagic anemia the
experimental substantiation of the antianemic effect of action of
Pinnipedia meat is done by the example of meat of Akiba seal.
The significant effect of the specified prophylactic action,
exceeding those at cow liver is established. On the basis of results
of research it is recommended to use the products of Pinnipedia
meat in preventive and dietetic therapy for decreasing the level of
distribution of the Fedeficit anemias.

Results of studying of a condition of the feeding of
elderly population (858 person) with various forms of services in
Vladivostok are submitted. The method 24-hours reproduction
of a feed is used. Essential lacks of the average diets increasing
risk of development and distribution of some diseases, including
hematological and bone are revealed.

Risk factors of the osteopenic syndrome on a material of cases of 595 women of 45‑60 years living in Primorsky Krai are analyzed. The mineral density of a bone was investigated, questioning was carried out. It is shown, that Questionnaires of the All‑Russia center of osteoporosis and the International fund of osteoporosis at enough high sensitivity have low specificity. Authors offer their own questionnaire created on the basis of the discriminantal and multivariate statistical analysis which sensitivity was 89% and specificity - 85%. Among the most signifi‑ cant risk factors of the osteopenic syndrome at women of 45-60 years are diabetes, osteoarthrosis, antacids treatment, fractures, later menarche, the duration of the menopause, multigravidity, hypodynamia, blue eyes, alcoholism and hypercalcaemia.

The dynamic examination of 85 patients with bronchial asthma was carried out to find out the characteristics of seasonal impact of weather conditions on airway patency and reactivity under monsoon climate of Sakhalin. Over a year a daily peakflowmeter measurements as well as bronchodilation test was done in the morn‑ ing and in the evening. The correlation of peak expiratory flow and its changes under bronchodilator influence from temperature and air moisture depending on disease severity and season of the year was established. Minute and signal response types of airway patency and reactivity were singled out, and they should be taken into account at bronchial asthma diagnose according to weather pattern.

The purpose of our studies was analysis of efficiency of the using medical nutritive formulas in children with toxic-dystrophic syndrome (TDS), as well as in development of the optimum algorithm nutritive supports beside given categories sicks. It was observed 16 children from 6 before 12 months, which were hospitalized with expressive degree proteinenergy insufficiency, complex of the clinical manifestations beside which was indicative of presence beside them TDS. As a result called on analysis was designed algorithm nutritive supports for children, residing on natural and artificial nutrition. The medical formulas with high degree of hydrolysis squirrel must be broadly used for phased nutritive support of TDS children. The medical mixtures allow getting the positive clinical speaker, restoring the structure of the mucous shell of the small intestine.

The purpose of work was revealing the features of
formation of the long-term results of the trauma of the central
nervous system at 285 children of 9-11 years with various types
of psychosomatic constitution and enrichment of the developed
traditional approach to their rehabilitation. The neurophisiological
, clinical and psychological exam were done. The program
of the medical-psychologo-pedagogic supports which is the
base to recommendations for parents and teachers allows as to
prevent the deterioration of the neurological status and various
neurosomatic lesions, and to raise the efficiency of their
medicamentous correction.

The microflora of skin from 107 patients with acne is investigated. It is allocated and identified 299 strains of bacteria and fungi. The more often found were Malassezia furfur (29.5%), Candida albicans (20.2%), Propionibacterium acnes (15.4%), Staphylococcus aureus (7.6%) and Staphylococcus epidermidis (4.7%). Among rare prevailed Escherichia coli (2.7%), Staphy-lococcus intermedius (2.5%), Streptococcus haemolyticus (2.0%), Staphylococcus hominis, Staphylococcus hyicus and Candida cifer-rii (1.7%, each). Bacteria and fungi frequently formed various associations - polyinfections (47.2%) and diinfections (32.5%). Antibioticograms of the majority of the allocated strains were characterized by plural medicinal stability to preparations of a choice and good sensitivity to antibiotics of group ftorchinolones, cephalosporines, cotrimaxosol. Staphylococci were sensitive to fusidin, and Enterobacter - to nitrofuran derivatives, P. acnes - to erythromycin and clindamycin. Yeast fungi were stable to nystatin. M. furfur was sensitive to clotrimasol and itraconasol, C. albicans - to fluconasol.

In experiment on nonlinear male rats the medical
preventive properties of the clam derivatives, in a purpose of
correction of the hematological, immune parameters and
antioxidative factors were studied for a substantiation of their further application at acute γ-radiation. The expressed activation of antioxidative processes, increase of nitrogen oxide level, and also on decrease in concentration malone dialdegide level both in RBC
and plasma of experimental animals have been registered. It is
judged perspectives of use of these products in experiment on
prophylaxis of ionization radiation.

The new accessible vegetative raw material - the rhubarb leaf is investigated and recommended for common and prophylactic nutrition. Presence in it of rare antracen derivative polyphenols stable at cooking, quercetin derivatives, organic acids and biotic microelements, as well as fibers allow to use it as a component in manufacture of products of functional purpose. The substantiation of use of rhubarb leaves is given as a component of the meat semifinished item possessing functional properties.
